Established in 1886, MAINA has been successfully operating for over fifty years in power transmission equipment field.
The production plants are located in Asti, Corso Alessandria 160, and cover a 24,000 sqm area, of which 16,000 are covered.

The Company employs 100 people and designs, manufactures and markets autonomously the following products:
- light and heavy series gear couplings
- high performance gear couplings
- gear spindles for mills plants
- universal shafts
Thanks to the continuous technological renovation, MAINA has been able to carry out, throughout the years, important realizations in Europe, USA, Asia and Africa which represent our most qualified references.
Leading Companies in iron and steel plant manufacturing field, such as Danieli S.p.A., Voest Alpine Group, SMS Group, Mino S.p.A., Fata Group, Simac S.p.A., Sumitomo, use our products, in various fields of application: casting machines for billets and slabs, bar and structural mills, hot and cold strip mills, plants for flat products, strip lines etc.
Engineering
Projects are processed by tridimensional parametric CAD systems and the structural calculation checks by FEM method. Engineering is carried out through successive modifications of the base parametric models, thus guaranteeing the operational features and the load capacities of the various products.
Manufacturing
Very modern CNC machines equipped with their own detection and measurement devices, assure the quality of the productive realizations. A tridimensional CAD/CAM system, based on the 3D files of the drawings, processes the operative programmes for the CNC machines.
Assistance
Maina offers its customers a full assistance service and more precisely :
a) preliminary assistance with the choice of the products
b) assistance during the installation of the products
c) maintenance assistance
d) training of the staff in charge of the assembly and of the periodical maintenance.
